"What an enjoyable side trip this was for me. Not only did I get to experience a mini travelogue, but I got to glimpse into your world through your photos, your writings and even your suggested reading lists. How happy was I that we enjoy some of the same authors and books. I can recall buying books and music(another of my loves) before I would buy food! No matter how cramped I might be in my living spaces, I refuse to get rid of any books or music. It drives my DH crazy, but he will get used to it eventually....LOL Thanks for sharing all of this with us. I have written poetry before, but generally it is in a response to pain. I can say that pain of that sort/intensity is no longer a part of my life...so no poems have been written in recent years.
